Dear Mom (Yes you!)

Dear Mom,

Thank you. Thank you for the hugs. Thank you for the kisses. Thank you for making me lunch. Thank you for helping me figure out the best app to keep me busy while you're on your work call. Thank you for dinner. Thank you for cleaning my dishes. Thank you for reading to me everyday. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for making me feel safe. Thank you for being the best mom ever. I love you! Love, (insert your kid’s name)

I know some of you need to hear this, and all of your deserve to hear it! Trying to "teach" because schools are closed down while attempting to work or tend to other children is not something any of us were mentally prepared for. But we are moms. We can do anything.

Through all of this I want you to remember one thing- You have been, and you will ALWAYS BE their most important teacher.

Don’t feel the pressure to do anything special. Just keep doing ‘you’. I mean look at how awesome you’ve already done. Isn’t your baby the best? You made that! Everything you’re doing is right. They, WE, are all going to be ok. In fact I’ll bet we’re all going to be better than ok when this is all over.

Don’t ever forget- I am going to say it again- You’ve always been and you will always be your child’s most valuable teacher. Embrace the role, it fits you.

(Through this platform I will continue to do what I had always intended to do- help moms connect with their children through love and learning. I hope you will allow me to support you in this way, our videos are a great place to start. This time is precious and we need to take advantage of it. I believe as moms, we have the advantage to give our little ones the best we can give every day. Even in these times. You've got this. X O Kristie)
